Office Manager

The Georgia Wildlife Federation (GWF), the state’s oldest member-supported conservation organization, seeks an Office Manager to support all administrative duties and ensure the office is operating smoothly. This position reports to the President & CEO.

Location: Covington, GA
Hours: Mon- Fri, 8am – 5pm with some occasional travel within the state for special events. Some events are on the weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process expenses and receivables, prepare reports for accountant and submit payments and deposits in a timely manner.
  • Maintain employee records while onboarding new staff, as well as updating office policies when necessary.
  • Assist with paperwork and accounting following all fundraising events.
  • Handle office supply inventory, ensuring all resources are available at all times.
  • Coordinate and assist with office and phone coverage.
  • Promote and manage all facility rentals, including pricing, updating brochures, tours, and payments.
  • Assist with board meetings, including sending notices, ordering/serving food, taking meeting minutes.
  • Attend both tradeshows and other fundraising events around the state, includes mileage reimbursement and overnight accommodations.
  • Assist with management of website and various social media accounts.
  • Assist with management of CRM system (The DataBank) to ensure all departments are using the system properly and efficiently.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or higher.
  • Experience: General office administration.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and budgeting.
  • Data entry experience and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Mail Merge, Outlook, and Publisher).
  • Customer Resource Management (CRM) – The Databank.
  • Proficiency in various social media platforms, including Meta, and other associated programs.
  • Credit card payment processing.

  • Ability to work independently as well as be a team player.

Salary and Benefits

  • $15/hr with paid holidays.
  • Paid vacation and sick leave will begin accruing on first day of employment.
