The Georgia General Assembly passed HR 519 this past spring creating a House Study Committee on Fishing Access to Freshwater Resources. The bill was in response to renewed efforts by some landowners to restrict fishing access to Georgia’s waterways. The Committee is holding community meetings during the month of October to receive feedback from the public.
