Quail Forever’s Georgia Outreach and Education Specialist Audrey Hawk will cover everything a quail hunter needs to know! We’ll delve into the best hunting seasons, necessary gear, safety measures, and identifying Northern Bobwhite Quail as well as the benefits of hunting with trained dogs. Learn about quail habitats, land access, hunting etiquette, and the importance of conservation and ethical practices. REGISTER HERE.

Columbus Deer and Hog Hunt
Oct 20-22 Sun-Tue
An all-inclusive retreat for the women of Artemis Georgia. We have secured lodging for 10 women to engage, encourage and empower one another in hunting! This event is suitable for any lady interested in additional mentorship, but also women with more experience who can act as mentors and help teach others. Range practice and instruction will happen with hunting opportunities the following two days. CLOSED.

Eatonton Deer Hunt
October 25-27
Join us for a weekend of deer hunting with other enthusiastic outdoorswomen. The property is rarely used and has high success rates for deer hunting. All women are eligible to apply regardless of experience level. Most of us will be car camping on site. Artemis GA will provide dinner Saturday night. Cost: $50/person. CLOSED.

Share the HERitage Hunt and Artemis Georgia

Two excellent programs come together to host a free first timer deer hunting workshop Veteran’s Weekend. With Georgia Wildlife Federation’s mission of engaging women in conservation and First Hunt Foundation’s mission of keeping the hunting heritage alive we’re coming together to build a community of support for our new participants. Sapelo Island Quota Hunt
November 20th- 23rd
Must have applied for the quota by Sept. 1st and been drawn. The hunt is the 21st-23rd, but we will be camping a couple days prior. We are hosting a virtual chat August 14th at 7pm on the subject. Artemis GA’s Melissa is hosting a hunt in the north Georgia region. She and her family are opening their doors and hosting us for a fantastic weekend. New hunters and experienced hunters welcome. Cost: $50/person. CLOSED.
