Melissa Hulsey, Artemis GA Advisory Council Chair
Favorite Outdoor Activity: Hunting, Fly Fishing
Melissa Hulsey grew up in fishing, camping, and hiking in the Catskill Mountains of New York. As a young adult her family moved south and she added hunting to her outdoor activities. She graduated with a BBA from Kennesaw State University and opened her own business, which she ran for 22 years. In 2017 Melissa sold her business and began focusing full time on outdoor pursuits. Archery hunting and fly fishing are her current favorites. She lives on a farm in Chickamauga with her husband Jamey, daughter Adeline and lots of animals.
Lynn Lewis
Favorite Outdoor Activity: Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Gardening
Lynn grew up on a 170-acre farm on the Ware-Bacon line in rural Georgia. Her experiences tending the farm, hunting with her dad and uncle, and exploring the woods on her own eventually led to a career in conservation. She is a Certified Wildlife Biologist® with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Forest Resources/Wildlife Management from the University of Georgia. When not at work as the Landowner Cost-assistance Program Manager for the USDA Forest Service, you can find her outside fishing, camping, kayaking, gardening, and of course hunting. She is the proud mother of Ethan, Maddie, and fur baby Beretta.
