OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DAILY FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET
Mill Creek Nature Center (MCNC) is an 88-acre wetland and wildlife preserve in Gwinnett County owned and managed by the Georgia Wildlife Federation. Donated to GWF by the Mall of Georgia Partners in 2003, the property provides a natural retreat in the heart of one of Georgia’s fastest-growing areas. Natural-surface and boardwalk trails wind through the property and include two bridges over Ivy Creek, an observation tower, an outdoor amphitheater, a raised workstation along Little Ivy Creek, and benches for visitors to stop and enjoy the surrounding wetlands and wildlife.
Volunteers and local Scout groups play an important role in maintaining MCNC’s trails and natural areas. Consider becoming a volunteer and helping GWF care for this special property.
POLICIES
Mill Creek Nature Center is open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset. All trails are for foot traffic only, with access to the Ivy Creek Greenway. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash and under their owner’s control at all times. To help protect the property, wildlife, and other visitors, the following activities are prohibited: hunting, fishing, camping, campfires, smoking or vaping, possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, lewd or indecent behavior, loud music or excessive noise, defacing or damaging property, and feeding, disturbing, or harming wildlife. Please help the Georgia Wildlife Federation keep this beautiful property clean and safe.
DIRECTIONS
