National Trails Day

Mill Creek Nature Center, Buford, GA

This year will be a little different than past years in that we will not be able to provide guided nature walks in order to adhere to Covid-19 guidelines. But we do encourage you to come and walk the trails while abiding by the current guidelines issued by the state of Georgia.

We respectfully ask that participants practice social distancing, walk in small groups, and wear masks while on the property. We also ask that everyone stay on established trails and to respect the wildflowers and wildlife. If you bring a dog, please keep it on a leash. As always, bicycles are prohibited on our MCNC trails (they are allowed on the Ivy Creek Greenway). This will be a rain or shine event. No registration is required. Remember, there are no restroom facilities at MCNC.

Parking is available between the Bird Watchers Supply Store (1999 Mall of Georgia Blvd) and Tuesday Morning. Please do not park in front of the Once Upon a Child Store and the Bird Watchers Supply Store. Overflow parking is available across the street at the Mall of Georgia. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
