We will have access to 400 acres of private property on Lake Oconee with National Forest Land just down the road. All women are eligible to apply regardless of experience level. We can teach you everything you need to know to go turkey hunting. This is considered a primitive camping experience with no access to restrooms or amenities. Cost for participation in the hunt is $75 including dinner Saturday night. Experienced women willing to coach another hunter has this $75 fee waived. Coaching includes calling, keeping an eye on safety and supporting new participants (you don’t have to be an expert to coach!) Email btaylor@gwf.org with questions on being a mentor). There is flexibility on partial or full weekend participation. There may be opportunities for borrowing equipment.
